Guerra y Sociedad en el Valle del Nilo durante los períodos Predinástico y Dinástico Temprano

La guerra como problema a la vez teórico e histórico habilita distintos enfoques y abordajes. Si ello es cierto para diversas situaciones histórico-sociales del mundo contemporáneo, también lo es para los estudios sobre sociedades antiguas, incluyendo aquellas que habitaron el valle del Nilo durante los períodos Predinástico y Dinástico Temprano. En lo que respecta a estos últimos contextos, la precariedad de la evidencia disponible sumada a las dificultades de índole interpretativa no obsta para que se realicen análisis de los testimonios existentes con el objetivo de ofrecer aproximaciones posibles. El objetivo del presente artículo es contribuir a las reflexiones sobre la guerra en el valle del Nilo de los períodos considerados ensayando una separación entre dos dimensiones de análisis: la dimensión de la práctica y la dimensión del poder.Palabras clave: guerra; práctica; poder; valle del Nilo; Predinástico/Dinástico TempranoDescargas
